The truck that started it all.
If we were meant to be, so was the Blazer. After restoring and remodeling it initially in 2020, Mike sold it to buy his condo in Phoenix, just days after his first date with Sarah.
Years later, a stranger who was considering buying it from a dealer in Ohio, found Mike’s original build thread to ask a few questions about the truck. After extensive conversation, the kind stranger decided that Mike should have the opportunity to buy back the truck instead, if he so chose.
From the forum friend to the dealer to the transporter, everyone was invested in our story, and motivated to get it back to Phoenix in time for our wedding. The Blazer arrived on our doorstep the day before we were married, in March of 2022.
Somehow life got even more adventurous
In 2023, we bought a 19’ Thor Majestic RV that was formerly a Cruise America rental. Mike converted it to 4WD, we remodeled the interior extensively, and tested the limits of its capabilities traveling in it to 48 states over 163 days.
We learned the ins and outs of RV life, saw and experienced more than we ever imagined was possible in such a short time, and somehow grew to love each other even more.
And so the adventures continue…
